4. Usage Limitations and Restrictions

The Service is provided for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Service:

To scrape content from websites that prohibit scraping in their terms of service
To scrape personal data in violation of privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations
To scrape copyrighted content without proper authorization
To conduct scraping activities that may harm or overload websites
To circumvent any rate limiting or security measures
To access or attempt to access restricted areas of websites
To collect sensitive information such as financial data or health records
To engage in any form of automated data collection without proper authorization

5. Limited Use of Services

The Services are only for the uses specified in this Agreement. You agree that you will not use our proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever except for use of the Services in compliance with this Agreement. We reserve the right to investigate and take legal action in response to illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Services.

You agree that our Services contain proprietary information and material that we own and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to trademark, copyright, patent, and trade secret laws.

You agree that you will not use our proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever except for use of the Services in compliance with this Agreement.

In no way should your use of the Services be construed to diminish our intellectual property rights or be construed as a license or the ability to use the Services in any context other than as expressly permitted under this Agreement.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following are prohibited activities under this Agreement:

Use the Services for any commercial purposes except as expressly authorized by AnyCrawl;
Reproduce any portion of the Services in any form or by any means, except as expressly permitted in this Agreement or otherwise in writing by our authorized agent;
Modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services in any manner, and you shall not exploit the Services in any unauthorized way;
Use the Services for any unlawful activities or in violation of any laws, regulations, or contractual provisions, or to induce others to do or engage in the same;
Use the Services to promote violence, degradation, subjugation, discrimination or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity;
Access another's account without permission of us or that person;
Publish or allow to be published malicious code intended to damage any mobile device, browser, computer, server, or network hardware;
Spam any comments section with offers of goods and services, or inappropriate messages;
Decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Services;
Solicit passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from others or disseminate another person's personal information without that person's permission;
Behave in any way that negatively impacts the customer experience of other users of our Services;
Employing the Services in association with debt collection;
Employing the Services for hard background check purposes;
Employing the Services to determine eligibility for a government license;
Employing the Services for any purpose prohibited by applicable data privacy and security laws, including the GDPR or CCPA;
Using our Services to benefit any government agency operating as an intelligence agency whose purpose is to collect and analyze data on people;
Any evidentiary purpose related to law enforcement or criminal prosecution;
Using or reselling Services in connection with any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

7. User Responsibility for Website Compliance

It is the sole responsibility of the end users to respect websites' policies when scraping, searching and crawling with AnyCrawl. Users are advised to adhere to the applicable privacy policies and terms of use of the websites prior to initiating any scraping activities. By default, AnyCrawl respects the directives specified in the websites' robots.txt files when crawling. By utilizing AnyCrawl, you expressly agree to comply with these conditions.

You acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable website terms of service, privacy policies, and usage agreements;
You must review and respect robots.txt directives of target websites;
You will not scrape websites that explicitly prohibit automated data collection;
You will implement appropriate delays and rate limiting to avoid overwhelming target servers;
You will respect any technical measures implemented by websites to prevent or limit automated access;
You understand that violation of website policies may result in legal action against you personally;
AnyCrawl is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your non-compliance with website policies.

8. API Rate Limits and Fair Use

The Service implements rate limiting to ensure fair usage across all users. Rate limits vary by subscription plan. Attempting to circumvent these rate limits is prohibited. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits based on usage patterns and service capacity.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes to the Service.

10. Subscription and Billing

In no event shall AnyCrawl, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check the Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
